Dory suddenly remembers her family and sets out to find them, accompanied by Marlin and Nemo. They travel across the ocean, encountering old friends and new obstacles along the way. With the help of a clumsy but well-meaning octopus named Hank and a nearsighted whale shark named Destiny, Dory finally reunites with her parents at an aquarium in California.
