Japanese Granny is a story about a young woman, Sumiko, who moves to Japan from America when her grandmother becomes ill. With much love and care, Sumiko helps her grandmother regain strength and health as they form an unbreakable bond of friendship. As time passes, both learn valuable lessons about life, culture and family. Together with the locals they face various challenges such as natural disasters that test their courage and resilience.
