Japanese Granny is a heart-warming drama about an elderly woman, Sachiko, who lives in the countryside of Japan. After her husband's death, she decides to take on the responsibility of raising her grandson alone. Despite being old and frail, Sachiko remains strong and determined to provide for her family. She finds solace in tending to her garden and cooking traditional meals for them. On top of that, she also takes up various odd jobs around town to make ends meet while providing guidance and care for her grandson as he grows into adulthood.
